IBEW Local 553 Notice: A new policy for requesting Letters of Introduction ("Good Guy Letters") is now in effect. All requests must be submitted ONLINE through the Letter of Introduction Request Form. We will no longer process requests received by phone. Please allow 1 business day for processing. Requests received after 4:00 PM will be processed the following business day. Letters of Introduction will only be issued for classifications that directly correspond to classifications recognized by the receiving Local Union.
