On January 9th, 2016, Raleigh-Durham JATC 5th year apprentices, Chris Peterson, Zach Stalls, Jesse Bowe, and Jeremiah Campoli celebrated their hard work and dedication to the electrical trade in grand ceremony at our annual apprenticeship graduation.
There were a number of guest speakers who proudly took the podium to congratulate our apprentices for their perseverance and work ethic, including our Business Manager Tony Swift, our Membership Development Coordinator Steve Baker, outgoing JATC director, John Martin, International Rep. Benny Hunnicutt, our new JATC director, Rebecca Axford, head of the Atlantic Coast NECA Chapter, Michael Hren, and Kathryn Castellos and Tony McKnight with NCWORKS.
Our sponsors, Salisbury By Honeywell, Milwaukee Power Tools, Greenlee, Klein Tools, and Fluke, as well as the JATC and IBEW 553 themselves, also handed out awards to our apprentices for a job well done. For our graduating apprentices, moving on to bigger and better things as Journeymen Wiremen, it was a happy affair. Congrats, fellas! Take a well-earned bow.
